Javier Jardon, M.D.

Javier Jardon, M.D., is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in surgical and medical retina conditions. He received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, San Juan, Puerto Rico. He completed his residency of ophthalmology at University of Puerto Rico and a vitreoretinal fellowship at University of Loma Linda, California. His professional interests include retinal problems, such as macular holes, macular pucker, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, and diabetic retinopathy. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Jardon has presented research, posters, and professional publications in multiple forums. He has also presented in local TV programs and radio stations. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the San Diego County Medical Society.
